Youngman Group Ltd, the leading access equipment manufacturer in the UK, were chosen by SR Technics Ltd to design and build a product which could allow safe access over the engines of an A320 and A319 Airbus.
This lightweight design allows the unit to be manoeuvred by one person while the levelling jacks and brake system ensure safe and solid positioning.
A key requirement was to customise the steps so they could be used on all aspects of external maintenance.
