Railmaster
Railmaster is a six component work platform for use on the London Underground.
The product was designed by the Youngman Group as a bespoke access solution for CBS Outdoor Ltd , the UK's leading transport advertising company, to allow them change large advertisements on the walls of London Undergound platforms during the overnight shutdown when trains are not running. The old method was time consuming and the Youngman design and engineering team carefully analysed the escalator and footway access routes and how the operators worked to post the advertisements.
The Railmaster:
- Complies with Work at Height Regulations and has been tested in accordance with EN 1004 Class 3
- Has a safe working load of 120kg's
- Provides safe physical access from the platform
- Comes in 6 easy to carry and assemble components
- Has an easy climb staircase
- Has 2 different models - one with a platform height of 1370mm and the other with a platform height of 1770mm
- Platform has an easy to operate gate with positive locking mechanism
- Track wheels allow easy movement along the track
- Has anti tilt clamp locks which are engaged before the operator alights the staircase
